Analyzing Documents to Search the Web
from the a-new-toy dept
This might be a cool toy. Autonomy today launched Kenjin which is a desktop app that analyzes documents on your computer and uses them to find relevent sites on the web. It sounds like a pretty good tool that might be useful. However, it does have me wondering about privacy issues. From the sound of things, this tool is reading every bit of text on your screen and sending it in to a server. Could that be abused? I certainly think so…
