Would someone just buy this company already?” I used to think SGI was a good acquisition target, but now I’m not so sure any more. They used to have a great brand, but that has suffered tremendously.

This has been their strategy for a year now – that and making NT boxes. I thought IRIX was great, but to be fair it was hard to get ports of commercial software – let alone support. I think they shot themselves when they sold off the MIPS processor division….
