Some sentimentality in this posting: Releasenow (formerly Release Software), has filed their S1. In true Release fashion, however, their S1 isn’t in the Edgar database yet but it is probably because they forgot the stamps? You’ll just have to believe the press release. Mike, Prash, and Todd should have stuck it out for just one more year to cash in on this baby: they’re hoping to raise $50M (while competitor Digital River is $650M). “Scoop” was invented here, so who gets scoop points?

Todd gets the ultimate scoop points for that one… I’d given up checking after all the rumors I’d heard about S1’s that never got filed. Very amusing though…
