United and Buy.com join forces

United Airlines and Buy.com are setting up a site called BuyTravel.com. No offense to either of these companies, but the day I buy my airline tickets from Buy.com is the day I give up on ever trying to receive any sort of decent travel assistance if needed. Buy.com is not in the customer service business. They sell cheap goods, with decent service, but don’t have the same customer service demands and airline has.
