PR a Scarce Resource

A very interesting article about startups trying to get PR firms to help them out. Of course, the PR firms are swamped and are being more choosey about who they take on. The interesting points, I think, come at the end of the article where the PR firms suggest that all of these consumer e-commerce companies are about to run into trouble (something I’ve believed for a long time). People have stopped using good business sense and simply go for “let’s do something fast”. Doesn’t strike me as very sustainable.
