Amazon sues B & N

from the get-over-yourselves dept

Amazon.com is suing Barnes and Noble for allegedly stealing their one-click ordering technology. I didn’t fully understand how Amazon.com won a patent for this technology last week, and I certainly don’t understand how they feel justified in suing over this. One-click ordering may have been novel when Amazon.com came up with it, but it’s certainly not rocket science, and it shouldn’t be something other sites can’t use.
