2000 Model Cars Considered Horseless Carraiges?

from the Y2K-striking-early dept

I’m not sure if this is actually true, but I’ll leave it up to the fine reporters at USA Today. It seems that some folks in Maine had their Year 2000 model cars officially marked as “Horseless Carraiges” on the title. The horseless carraige designation being used for any “vintage” vehicle from before 1916. If this isn’t a sign of the impending end of civilization due to Y2K, I’m not sure what is.
