Lycos to Pay Popular Home Page Builders

Lycos announced that they will start offering money to builders of more popular home pages through their Tripod service. Definitely an interesting idea, and could provide incentive for some folks at the other free online home page companies to switch over to Tripod. I wonder if Geocities and others will follow suit. Of course, if you look at the actual amounts given out, it’s pretty small, but it’s a start.
