Web Service Firms Swamped

from the take-a-number,-wait-in-line dept

I’ve always been curious about the large number of internet consulting firms that have been popping up recently. They keep claiming how well they’re doing, and now there’s an article in News.com saying that they’re turning away tons of business. What does this mean for smaller companies that can’t afford to go out and hire one of these guys? Also, how long does this last? Is it going to continue as the web evolves and the technology changes, or does it reach a saturation point and begin to ease up?
