Online Folks Don't Trust Privacy Policies

from the going-to-hell-in-a-handbasket dept

A new study shows that a large number of online users don’t trust privacy policies of companies online. With good reason too. Most privacy policies are put up just because, and no one seems to take them really seriously. This is a huge issue that I think companies need to deal with if they really mean to treat their customers right. A privacy policy has to be more than a few paragraphs on a web page.
