Phone.com announces the ability to manage cell-phone settings remotely using Unwired Planet’s Wireless Application Protocol (WAP). It is intended to allow administrators to be able to change phone settings remotely, but who’s to say that your cell phone company can’t grab other information off your phone (like all your friend’s phone numbers).
