I-Escrow acquires Trade-Direct

I-Escrow is buying its main competitor Trade-Direct. This is surely good for I-Escrow in that it will increase the number of transactions they clear. Volume is key in their business since they get a piece of each transaction. I’ve always thought that the credit payment option was the best feature of escrow services. But I question how they can survive in the face of BillPoint, which allows individuals to handle credit card transactions.
