S3 Buying Diamond

For years I’ve been saying that S3 was in trouble. Three years ago, I thought that Intel would wipe them out, but they bought Exponential’s patents. Last year, though, they were struggling again. Now, however, they’ve gone out and bought Diamond Multimedia, in an attempt to expand into different markets. I’m not sure that they’ll be successful, but they are resilient.
