OneBox Finally Launches

I’ve known about these guys for quite a while, and today they came out screaming. There’s been news about them just about everywhere, so I’ll just put one article here, but if you’re interested, look around and there are tons. You should also just go to the Onebox.com website and sign up for a local number if you’re lucky enough to live in a region that they’ve got covered. I’m still a little skeptical though, and I really want to see the unified messaging product they offer. They’ve been claiming (forever) how they were the next hotmail, but I’m not sure I belive that. I’m not sure people are going to want to jump through the various hoops required to use their system. In one of the articles I saw them talk about how they’re targeting the consumer crowd, but it strikes me that this is much more of a business product. Maybe they’ll prove me wrong…
