New Domain Registrars Named

from the let-the-competition-begin dept

ICANN finally got around to releasing the names of the new domain registrars to compete with Network Solutions. Included in the bunch are AOL and Not sure how I feel about AOL doing it, as I could see them doing some weird things, but you never know. They certainly know how to make things easy. All I know is that hopefully competition should make the whole process a lot more reasonable. Interestingly, among those snubbed was AT&T & Net Names, both of whom I thought would get it.
