Apparently, Compaq was trading at 900 this morning (which is especially good, considering the class action suit that’s being formed against them.. I know it was a mistake which was fixed within minutes, but I still think it’s funny. Ok, this isn’t really newsworthy, but I love it when little mistakes happen on big sites. It amuses me. Especially when my Y! Pager alerts me of this too.

Apparently, according to News.com, this was due to a clerical error. I wonder, if clerical errors can effect this sort of thing, you’d expect it to happen more often, right? I mean, clerical errors are fairly common, and the number of trades that happen, sooner or later, someone’s going to do this. Oh well.
