Replay and Tivo both made big announcements today. Kleiner Perkins has invested $8M in Replay, making them the lead investor. Tivo’s products will launch later this week with partner Philips.
This is great news for both companies and should really kick-start the market for digital tv recording devices. If you don’t know what these products do, check out the Replay or Tivo sites.
