@Home and RoadRunner have no plans to combine

The CEO of Time Waner today is denying that @Home and RoadRunner are likely to merge, despite all of the merging and joint ventures of the various owners of both companies. Personally, I think they might be right not to merge, as neither company is doing that great a job, and letting them compete should force them to make their services better. However, in the past month or so every time people have denied stuff, it seems like a week later whatever they denied came true.
