Hey look, if you want to use an ad blocker I disagree but it's a free country. But to claim you are 'nice' to allow the site to generate revenue is unrealistic. Where else do you get to use a product then decide if you want to pay for it? If something isn't free but you are taking it and not paying, then how is that different from stealing without getting caught?
So these people that just can't be bothered to ignore ads nor pay for content are now complaining because you link to something that they can't view? #firstworldproblems
Semi regular reader here, this article is not up to this website's standard. The above are the rules for being classified as a business, if you disagree with the rules then get them changed, don't complain about MN Revenue properly applying current law.
Disappointing techdirt.
thanks for the article, my twin brother and i have 2 xboxs, a family xbox subscription and routinely buy 2 games/dlc packs to be able to fully access the online portions of games we enjoy.
all that to say this guy isn't alone with this issue and while i realize i'm getting ripped off i have no alternative until another company comes up with a better deal.

Re: ugh please
OK, name one thing Steve Jobs invented.
So if Jobs does it, iPod/iPhone/iPad, it's inspiration but if you take inspiration from an Apple product it's copying.
I must not be smart enough to understand the nuance of this argument.
