What an utter idiot... (Cameron I am taking to you...) Shouting your mouth of like that.
It is VERY sad that this girl felt that this was the only way out. I do not in any way want to make light of this, HOWEVER... The internets is not at fault. It is not ask.fm's fault. It is the people who used ask.fm and send the messages who is at fault. Also, what is the matter with people... If you do not like porn, do not go to the pornsites. If you are getting bullied on a website, dont go there... How freaking hard is that.
Thousands die every year because of car accidents. Lets ban cars... What about the ocean... People die there too. Lets just lock everyone up for their own safety.
Am I the only one thinking that this is an obvious ploy to make a play for the next election? I am seriously looking for somewhere else to live... Latvia or Zambie looks good right now ;)
How about a simple "We give you this patent but because it is ridiculous to expect us to see if it is in use, if another party can prove that they were using this before you applied, your patent becomes cancelled, AND the patent actually transfers to the party that proved they used it before you.
I have a solution... Ban ALL audio and video file downloads from the internet... Not illegal ones, not fileshared ones, ALL of them... They will be back asking for it to be allowed again in minutes...
Add one clause to the patent law... If the patentholder does not manufacture the device in sufficient quantities or use the process themselves, or does not have a software that has it build in (that has a big enough user base), they are NOT allowed to sue ANYONE because of it. That will stop the patent troll's ability to screw with anyone...
I am sorry, but any global sporting event that feels threatened by a Gyro shop called Olympic Gyro really has had their day and should be allowed to die... I for one will stay as far away from London as possible to avoid even accidentally supporting it...
So really the paper in question does not want anyone to promote their articles online, meaning they do not want any more readers online... Perhaps we should tell their advertisers...
Do the Movie Studios not realise yet that this sort of crap ACTUALLY DRIVE people towards piracy... The more crap you put on my legally purchased movie (warnings, adds etc) the quicker I will rip it to my big ass home entertainment server, and watch it the way I want to... not the way you want me to... Get a freakin grip...
So here is my question... The story says that it did so on the UK iTunes. Is it just me, or is the UK always getting the wrong end of this stick... From experience (I live in the UK and travel to the USA often) when this kind of crap happens, people in the US would all band together and issue a loud and resounding HELL NO... In the UK it is more like an individual whimper but the hand gets stuck in the pocket anyway... What is that about?

That will kill them off well and good.
This is getting out of hand...

Is it possible that the artist knows how ridiculous it is, but wants to show Sony and RCA how ridiculous they are being?
