So this is where the New World Order really starts.
Looks like the TPP will get rushed through this week. Or at least very soon. Leadership in boih the USA and Canada need to sell out our sovereignty before it can become an election issue. All hail our new corporate world leaders.
So when do the real elections for the World Corporate Congress happen? Do shareholders get a vote or do you have to be on a Board of Directors?

But here is another thought... I turned on a radio (remember those?) in the middle of a news story about a violent incident at some high school.
Wow it had me worried.
But it was not until near the end of the story that I realized that the incident had happened half way around the world in Korea.
I remember thinking that 25 years ago you would never have heard about it. I also remmeber thinking that the news media had to go a long way for the headline that day.
So if there is no down side to a bogus copyright claim why doesn't some anonymous group just bomb the music biz with content claims against everything they ever posted everywhere and anywhere?
You know, just to force them to admit the system as is sux?

Well as a Canadian I think there are several points
1) Our Northern Replubican gets his marching orders from the USA. As Haroper himself said "I don't care what goes into the new law as long as it makes the American's happy"
2) He takes American plotitions so serious he copys their play book.
3) He wants stricker laws but, yet he canm't obay the laws we already have.
It is the new Amerika! where the TSA says; "Please get you travel papers ready while we molest your wife and children. It is just another way to protect your freedom."
The new USA. Just don't go there and avoid the fuss.
So what will happen when the kids pay for one $30 copy and then copy and upload it to the net 120 minutes after release?
And it won't matter how much DRM it comes loaded with because it will be still easier to 'cam' and sync it off the 72" LCD TV then it would be to do it in the theater.
I decided that I would give netflix a try. But the selection was very poor. So I was going to drop them. It seemed like a good idea but it looks like it was executed poorly. My guess is that this is another attempt by Hollywood to sabatage paid down loads.
Other then that the movie stram was unrerliable so I suspect my cable company was messing up the transfer.
Too bad. It would have kept a lot of people off torrents.
