There's absolutely NO REASON why Hollywood should have ANY SAY EVER in what hardware is being produced. Period.
It seems obvious that she wanted the money for the job but didn't want the consequences for accepting that job
She probably just didn't expect the number of number of complete and utter nutcases out there.
It does matter cause the holier-than-though attitude and moral highground of the US has long gone out of the window. Not calling it torture convinces exactly noone.
I'll say that again: these shenanigans make you think fondly of McCarthyism.
Too funny to see you're dumb shills even grasping the consequences for you and your ilk (not to mention the fact that this will do NOTHING to stop people from ripping their BDs).
Of course you won't get a refund and the German newspapers usually only posts opeds that claim people just don't want to pay artists.
No, it's not. At least that's what German politicians say when it comes to our "you must be a pirate" tax. It's just compensation for allowing the "Privatkopie" (private copy) which allows you to share copyrighted (but not copy protected!) material with up to 7 personal friends. This was established years ago in a ruling where a judge with common sense realized there was no way to control what people do with the media they bought (obviously that was before DRM and the NSA).
You're welcome.
Even the intelligence fanbois are pathetic. Who could have guessed that?
So it's got nothing to do with tit-for-tat for when Russia asked the US for someone to be extradited and the US refused?
It's strange how Karl argues that we shouldn't listen to people with law degrees who have not practiced law
I think the only thing strange to you is that Karl's arguments - without him having gone trough a formal legal education - hold much more water than Mr. Harts'.
You can try this "argument from authority" all you want, but rest assured people here look at the validity of the argument and not the source.
As opposed to Techdirt; the opinion blog of Mike Masnick were shills and trolls fail miserably on a regular basis.
You know that's just too obvious for those marketing droid bullshit artists. Someone should point this out to them via Twitter so we can laugh at the rephrased statement too.
I have no doubt that the studios are in discussions with Netflix about VPNs because it is blatantly in breach of terms and Netflix is essentially getting a free ride into Australia.
So somehow a CEO from a _competing_ company gets to set the terms for how Netflix is _allowed_ to serve the Australian market? Entitlement much?
Highly esteemed? Really?
Absolutely. Cause he's NOT starting the war but some jackasses who can't just can't handle different point of views.

Which was available in XBMC as the first overpriced Kaleidoscope hit the market. Early adopters turned a blind I cause they'd already build there own HTPCs for far less money.
