If an anonymous asshat claims this it certainly must be true!
It's already been passed on to the end consumers in form of the flat fee they pay for their internet access. If that calculation is off, the ISP needs to rethink it.
And it's not like the customer's to blame either. The ISP initiated the move from volume based billing to flat rates and apparently they had no problems with the majority of users not using their contracts full capacity.
So you want others to prove your point for you? Yeah, that's gonna work (and also hints strongly at the validity of your claims)!
Bullshit.
Also rather cheap to call everyone who disagrees with your Google fanposts a troll.
No as cheap as your use of straw men. OTOH, you don't have the facts on your side, so you must make up sh!t.
Just FYI: I've posted a method to downgrade your LG TV to a less intrusive firmware.
I'm sure you'd completely ignore National Security Letters' gag clause and tell the government to take a hike, right?
So much of what so many people do on the Internet is tied so heavily to Google's services
[citation needed]
I for one only use search and maps.
So you're now attacking future fantasy scenarios you've been cooking up in your own weird mind? Impressive.
Yeah, right. Because everyone has sufficient bandwidth a affordable prices to stream true HD content.
Don't you need drivers for this to work?
When is this Raspberry hype going to end? It can NOT play 1080p with DTS-MA without stutter, not even at 900 Mhz.
Good luck with that, people on the German forums say LG denied them any downgrades. Some Russian guys apparently saw this as an opportunity and offer to downgrade your firmware to any version via their webpage for 3,99 Euro. Some people have reported this to work.
Except of course most non-smart TVs (at leat from Samsung) don't come with a LAN port so you can't use the included media player to watch content from your NAS.
The ones who already had bought them and didn't know they would ever be forced to agree to new policies retroactively to keep paid for functionality after updating to a new firmware LG provides no changelog too and which cannot be downgraded?
Nope, it's just a thing of clueless and corrupt politicians being in the pockets of the publishing industry who can't stand the fact it's not setting the trends anymore.
LG sux big time for various reasons. The latest of which is that some firmwares ago they decided to remove the option to switch audio streams when watching local content via DLNA. Allegedly due to copyright reason, no less!
And still you can't provide us with a shred of credibility. Funny that.
Re: Now that is what I am talking about
What this actually does is proving you're a liar for claiming Mike is a Google shill. You're welcome.
