  You yahoos never seem to explain how white people calling other white people "racist" is racist. It comes across as trying to dodge being called racist by epic-level projection. Situations like your son had to deal with would never be an issue if all the bad cops (enabled by the good cops) didn't actually kill people for nothing at the drop of a hat, then close ranks around the offenders. if someone in other jobs was half as murderous as the average US cop, they would be kicked out by their own colleagues. In Britain we have a word for the red-faced, angry, shouty, racist PoS (male and female) Karens. "Gammon". Man up and stop whining, and take responsibility.   Every word you said there was either wrong or a lie. "I'll put my head into the sand to ignore the real issues - argh, the 'socialist sand' is suffocating me!" Regulation is not socialist, and these monopolies are propped up by big capitalist companies paying off politicians to stifle the small companies. Why else would they pay to pass laws blocking competition? If your fact-free rant about politics you don't understand had the slightest merit, then red states would be internet nirvanas of competition, and plentiful small companies. Newsflash: they aren't. Whereas in "socialist" Europe and Canada we have healthy competition, much better coverage, and pay a lot less, all without massive subsidies.

  If you read the actual article, instead of your #BlueLies memo, you would see that it isn't enough on its own regardless of crime, so you'd better have some other, actual, real evidence. Your shoplifter could still be caught as usual. If the case is purely relying on dodgy facial recognition for a conviction, then tough. Go read some tea leaves. Also your moans about border cases could be applied to any sentence or crime, so are pretty nonsensical. There have to be borders somewhere.

  Technically, the 99-year lease was on Kowloon, the landward port for Hong Kong. The UK had Hong Kong in perpetuity. However, control of the island of Hong Kong was meaningless without control of Kowloon, so it was arranged for Hong Kong to revert back to the PRC as well. The UK tried to protect the residents as best they could, and the PRC did agree (however dishonestly) to terms which is it now abrogating. The UK's major sin in this was in making it harder for HK citizens who wanted to leave to come to Britain and settle.

  The world watched in horror at the inhumanity of American police, and it moved them to protest their own police too. Chauvin's blatant racism got statues of slavers cast down and many places named for them re-named in the UK. Scum like that need disappeared from history, and their supporters should be thinking twice about singing the praises of racist criminals.
