Seriously: how hard is it for folks in Hollywood to ask this simple question: "Would I ever use this product that I'm developing?" If the answer is "not in a million years" perhaps it's time to move on to building products that consumers actually want.
Uhm the answer would always be "not in a million years" cause nobody at Hollywood has ever used a product of technology in a million years except their lackies and when it's for legislation.
DON'T STEAL CONTENT
i think the bees are the ones supporting copyright, cause only a hivemind colony of dumb peasants ran by a queen would support such a stupid system
Additionally, I'd actually have an entry but I don't think it will be ready for the deadline, as it is in a very very very alpha stage ATM.
It's like a series about the internet and does get into copyright (AKA "Censoright" as it's called there) and how it harms the net, even getting into a huge final battle at the end vs. a SOPA-like construct which threatens to tear the net(/world) into bloody chunks apocalypse style.
It's called "Dimension Zerone" (As in zero and one merged together) and I don't have any sort of site for it... Or a place to upload my stuff I just haven't been that happy with places like Deviantart... Any ideas?
That gave me a mental image of the marching hammers from "The Wall" except while hammering artists/buyers into little holes for some reason.
What Will The Future Of Copyright Look Like?
This is especially funny in the wake of RIAA CEO Cary Sherman's recent interview, in which he claimed record labels were needed to "separate the wheat from the chaff" and "designate who is worth promoting and marketing". It seems the legacy gatekeepers aren't quite as good at curation as they think?
*"ads" not adds, except for the part where they are bloat
^^
Agreed. With junk mail filters & Firefox no-script/add blocker I almost never see adds of any sort.
But even with DVR I still must skip through 5 mins worth of demeaning commercials (not just to women but also intelligence)
Hahaha I wonder how many people would've voted for Skynet & Bender that is so funny I would've just left it like that all the voting crap is a waste of time anyway atleast people could get some laughs out of it.
At the very least it should warrant a slap in the face.
Power through control that is...
Uhhh.... You do realize nobody would technically be able to express originality at all, right?
The whole thing is bogus whichever way it goes.
actually the darknet is dark, pitch black actually
it is just lit up by lots and lots of flashing neons signs made up of the pirated content like a huge underground city on crack
Re:
I'd like apply for this lawsuit aswell, the MAFIAA owes me trillions of dollars in lost braincells.
