Big tech has no responsibility to or for our children. Parents and/or guardians have responsibility for their children.
The rest of the document is garbage, too.
I wonder if an ammendment to the law needs to be passed that adds the reviewer and review date to each letter. This would force them to actually review them(perhaps) and make it much more likely for them to try and reduce the number to those that actually require continued secrecy.
If you want to see what commercial video cameras are capable of, listen to the TED talk from Thomas Hellum of NRK. (just search for slow tv ted talk). In it he describes being able to use their cameras to zoom in on people on mountain tops kilometers away.
Autoshack rebranded as AutoZone because one word in the two-word name. If that's the precident, then Monster wins, but only if they go after every other $blank Energy drink.
What's the point of the three words? If you can download an app, you could surely download an app that reports its location automatically. If you're downloading an app to save your life, would you deny it permission to access your device's location?
Because I'm sure, if they wanted to, they could ID the victims as well. The problem I do have is that using that data for any other purpose.
This is why the military recommends that soldiers not wear fitbits or any other tracking apps, because it prefers its soldiers to not get blown up on their morning jog.
Its also why you should never take a cell phone, or any other device, with you when you're scoping out a crime. And for gods sake, make sure you leave it home when you actually commit the crime.
Don't expect too much, when the government has to prosecute the FCC in court, don't expect chairman Pai to be challenged too much by a-g Barr because they're both former Verizon lawyers.
The length of the red light and green light should be based on the traffic volume. The length of the yellow light should be set based on the speed of the approaching road. The way to make this happen is to have the programming request that the speed limit be entered, not the time. This would be a very trivial change for the manufacturers. This would also allow the light timing to be easily checked: look at the speed limit sign, walk to the box and look at the value entered in to the speed limit field. If they match, you get a ticket, if they don't match, not only do you not get a ticket, but someone in the DoT gets fired.
...if BMG reports Sony, then GEMA reports the MPAA. The RIAA reports Universal, etc. Elavon reporting FirstData would be even funnier, almost as much as Visa reporting MasterCard, or Wells Fargo reporting BofA. I wonder if one of them reporting UN.org would be the best. What about VK reporting facebook.com? Yahoo reporting google.com. I could go on for hours. How about the FSB reporting cia.gov?
I agree with you but disagree. We could end terrorism by no longer involving ourselves in other countries. We could end drug trafficking by correctly scheduling all of the currently illegally trafficked drugs. The tough one is ending CP. Anyyone with a $20 camera, an internet connection, and a kid can create and spread it. We can't outlaw $20 cameras; we can't outlaw internet connections; we probably won't outlaw kids so I don't have a solution to this one.
My problem with these three things is that, compared to the rest of the crimes commited in the U.S., these three are probably among the least frequent which means that the powers that be are simply full of shit.
The reason that they're giving it up is that nearly 100% of all phone calls in the US now traverse the Internet. The only calls that wouldn't would be from user A on carrier A connected to tower A talking to user B on carrier A connected to tower A, and how often does that happen?
The test should have been mental stability, self confidence, interpersonal interactions that don't involve a keyboard', etc.
Someone I know recently had a friend over. They put on a movie and then sat on opposite sides of the room and did nothing but stare and type away at their phones for more than 3 hours.

Re: Isn't workable. Suppose GOOGLE provided web history...
I suggest you google the legal term 'in camera', and then try again.
Radio Shack vs Autoshack

Re:
I'm sure his comment was referring to the utter devistation in the Bahamas, and that can happen during any hurricane season.
can any of the cases he litigated by overturned?
Or did the 'influence peddling in Mississsippi' case just get pushed under the rug?

Re: Last time we had something like this...
Yes, yes it is.
i don't have a problem with these searches

why the campaign filed the suit
So that losing doesn't come out of his pockets, but comes out of the pockets of his donors, which seems like a misuse of campaign funds.

Re: So I only have one question...
Damn straight. There's no other reason for it.
won't it be great

Re: One damning dismissal
And you're just now realizing this? Its been this way for at least 25 years.
Re: Re: Strong Arm
You do realize that have been, in fact, convicted of this, right?
Happy should not have been the test
