  Ok, I'm a little confused. I thought copyright applied when the performance was recorded on a fixed medium? And were not the Super Bowl broadcasts live with no tape delay in at least the early years? Seems to me that Mr.Haupt should own any copyright on the video that his Dad created.

  People that I know that download movies would not go to the theater and see the movies if they couldn't download them. They would simply never see the movies. The people are either too poor to afford to go to the theaters, or disabled and physically unable to go. Others of my acquaintance do go to the theater to see movies they enjoyed after downloading them.

  Is this a cut and paste from another article? Or are many now using the word "site" when they actually mean "sight"?
  
  I read an article the other day on the same subject that also used the word "site". Makes me a little suspicious.

  I use uBlock, AdBlock Plus, NoScript, and Privacy Badger, and view Ars Technica with no problems and no ads.
  
  I pay for sites that I visit frequently via their Donate buttons. I read online fiction series and contribute more than the new cost of a paperback book if I like reading the story and return for future installments.

  Where do you get your knowledge concerning those who carry handguns? Video games? Do you actually know anyone that carries a handgun? I do, and a lot of them.
  
  First, no one that I know would pull out their weapon without having a target in mind, as it makes you an instant target for the bad guy. Second, everyone that I know takes the carrying of a gun really seriously, the consequences of shooting the wrong person are horrible,unless you're a cop.
  
  "Armed people in that situation are likely to shoot at any perceived threat." and what, pray tell, makes you such an expert that you can say what I and others are "Likely" to do?
