It happened to me yesterday. LOL May 12th, 2010 and I haven't bought anything from Amazon.com in well over a year. I never got anything like a email receipt or anything at all. I just found the charge in my on line bank account statement. So whats that about 3 or 4 years now. WTF?
Thanks ANONYMOUS, I got wacked the $79.00 a year after I bought something and I used my visa/debt card. I got hit with a couple insufficient funds fees too. I went right to my bank as soon as I found the charge on my on-line banking statement. They are handling the $79.00 and the insufficient funds fees. I than contacted Amazon and talked to them for a while. Yes they said they would credit my account the $79.00 but not the insufficient funds fees. Real nice of them, eh? I just hung up on them and changed all the info they have on me on thier site.
I Agree with you 100% I bought a couple games for my son over a year ago and yesterday I found that $79.00 charge on my debit card, which made my account go negative and now I have two $35.00 insufficient fees on my account. Thats $149.00 I'm out because of this shit. I'm pissed off and I'm with you 100% if you need me. You would think a big company like Amazon.com would never do something like this. What jerks.
