It might have just been a Freudian slip, but Frederick said the paper had "grubstaked" the new trolling company. I had to look up grubstake but it means "To supply with funds in return for a promised share of profits." The most common use apparently is within the mining industry. So, my conclusion is that they are digging for gold...I'm just saying..
When I was in college in 95 a friend had a bootleg of a Dead album that he played while we were driving up to go snow skiing. I was hooked and ended up purchasing all the studio albums and seeing them 5 times before Jerry's untimely death. Until then I had heard OF them but not actually listened to their music. As you have so succinctly put before; the music is the hook to get us to purchase the real scarcity. All those music companies sold scare plastic discs before...those days really are gone, even if they don't realize it yet. Anyway, the bootleg from a '72 concert got me to spend several hundred in the mid 90's. That my friends, is power.
I think that they should be teaching the kids how to think and solve problems rather than rote regurgitation of facts. I work in the tech field and am amazed that people call me for things they could have gotten from the help button in about 1 minute but are willing to wait 30 minutes for me to get back to them because they don't want to think. its kind of sad, really. even after we show them how to get help; it requires thought and they don't want to think.
...depending on which tool you've got on hand. I have to say the comments here have been brilliant! My wife is looking at me like I'm insane just for reading this stuff! Doh! Maybe she has a point.
Thanks for the humor y'all!
BTW - If you aren't running Virtual PC on a Mac with Linux on VMWare inside that running FreeBSD in a virtual machine that serves all your webpages and runs your climate control system then you are just wasting time... ;) peace. out.
(** yeah, this was useless, but that was the point.**)

thinking is more important
