I'm guessing that the brilliant thief was friends with people who shop at the same store she shoplifts from. It's pretty amazing that they just happened to find this woman on social media.
Yeah well... I won't be voting conservative next time around; and I don't think many Canadians will either. Harpers done enough, time to change the silly guy in the PM's seat again. And they are ALL silly.
Shouldn't turnabout be fair play? If the Government has nothing to fear, and nothing to hide, why haven't they come out with this years ago and just let us know they were doing this instead of constantly hiding it? The mere fact they were straight out lying means they knew what they were doing was wrong, they're afraid of the consequences and now they're trying to mollify the American public.
All in all, despite this whistleblower, I highly doubt anything will change.
Anyone who's watched Person of Interest should be significantly creeped out by all these cameras in our living room. If it's hooked up to the internet I would kindly like these manufacturers to Eff the Eff off.
Look, I'm not saying that they're within legal grounds for arresting and charging this kid. They aren't, he hasn't done anything illegal at all.
Societally though? He's being an ass. He needs to learn that his tongue can bring a great deal of harm upon him and others. That was my only point. People need to learn discretion. Free speech is all well and good, but if you cannot control your tongue, then you will quickly discover how "free" you really are.
I would've done the same thing. At LEAST uploaded it to my dropbox on the sly. But we don't know what kind of situation the hostages were in. They could've had a police watching them for cell phone usage or anything.
This shouldn't surprise anyone though. The entire system is corrupt from the President down to the lowliest form of authority. It's only gonna get worse.
Why does anyone care what these freaks do? I mean seriously, who the frack are these people? A decade ago no one knew who were the Kardashians and overnight they're a household name? They're not in a sitcom, there's no TV show with them, they don't sing (god I hope not) and there's not even a movie in which they perform.
Oh shit... they're on reality TV... god the world is going to ruin. Aren't they? I bet they are, I never watch that drivel but I just bet they are. No wonder they irritate the bejesus out of me.
With the incredible arrogance shown by Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, I just don't think I'll be buying any future consoles. My PC offers me plenty of flexibility, and if it's not flexible enough I can MAKE it flexible enough.
You can't say the same thing without modding your consoles, and if I'm going to go through all that effort, why buy one then? The PC already out performs them every time. The ONLY reason I can to buying a console is a few proprietary games.
But if the price of my freedom, and my dollar's vote is a damn game, then I've really sold out like a cheap whore.
I completely agree. If they had come out and called it SimCity MMO or something, then there would've been ALOT less disappointment. It's the Baldfaced lying and flattened expectations that are pissing off gamers everywhere.
I wonder if the father can sue the school and the police for emotional distress caused to his child over this. I'd be SUPREMELY pissed at the principal over this BS.
This is just like the stupid BS that happened in Ontario where a kid got yanked out of class and his home got searched because some dumbass teacher thought his father might be violent. Seriously, these nations have got to get their head out of their asses and stop living in a state of fear.
Oh and let's not forget you're immediately judged as guilty and sentenced as soon as the accusation is made. No due process, no chance to argue your innocence... you're guilty, they said so. Done and done.
First off, wouldn't you rather some wannabe terrorist getting his rocks off on a game INSTEAD of real life?
Secondly, when I was younger and had more time, I had desire to build a DOOM map of the downtown +15 in Calgary and the malls that are linked to it. That would've been cool (I still think it would be cool) there's just something about playing a game in something that could be like real life.
After all, people play lasertag and paintball for that very reason. Playing it digitally is alot less painful and sweaty. :)
Pretty lucky

Cons in Canada
Yeah well... I won't be voting conservative next time around; and I don't think many Canadians will either. Harpers done enough, time to change the silly guy in the PM's seat again. And they are ALL silly.
Bullshit
Maybe I should start a group up and call it "Shit Scouts" and see if they come after me... then the shit can really hit the fan. :)
Turnabout...

Person of Interest...

Stupid is...

What an idiot
Seriously, I can't defend this kid. He needs to learn something that most of North America should at some point. It's called discretion.
Free speech is awesome. So is using your brain and learning when to bridle your tongue.

The real news is...
Why does anyone care what these freaks do? I mean seriously, who the frack are these people? A decade ago no one knew who were the Kardashians and overnight they're a household name? Hmph..
At least Margaret Thatcher is dead... one down about a billion or more to go. :P
The death of consoles

LOL
That's priceless, awesome Friday afternoon comedy.

Or - Would have, Would not have, our Could have.
I'm sorry, you did WHAT?!
What really blew me away is that people who pre-ordered and were getting hosed were buying a SECOND copy of the game.
You just got shit on, and you're coming back for more?!?! WTF?
Lawsuit!!

This makes me sick
I'm SO sick of this stupid copyright and permission culture. Ship 'em out the fracking airlock and have done with them.
