I don't know if this opens Apple up to a class action lawsuit for developers to sue for their 30% from the last several years, in light of this ruling.
It's telling that Patreon has already announced a new version of their iOS app which removes Apple's payment processing.

I'm not sure how creepy it actually is. It has some really interesting potential to be able to solve certain types of property crimes. At the price, I suppose, of also undermining privacy.
