  I worked in a book store when she endorsed Million Little Pieces, which is a very lurid account of a drug addict's recovery. We had so many elderly Southern Baptist Republicans coming in for that book solely because Oprah chose it for her 'book club'. I cringe to think of what their reactions were when they read it.

  Again, mentioning that I sometimes have sex with my spouse is not a detail, and is not TMI. In addition, it was not only relevant to the discussion, but it followed your own sex reference, making your objection hypocritical.
  
  As for the rest, while I don't have a problem with your suggestion, the two cases are not analogous. In my case, you made a sex reference, I replied with a similar sex reference, then you said it was TMI. That's hypocritical. In your case, you made a joke (?), no one else did, you got butthurt.

  Nicosia was convicted for the hit-and-run, but he has not received any sanctions for his actions afterward. In case you didn't read the site (You had to do a search first. :P), Dr. Nicosia, an emergency room physician, stood and watched his now legless victim hauled out of the water, ignored shouts for medical help, declined to answer police when they asked if anyone aboard his boat had medical experience, and then left. Seriously. Quite frankly, that's despicable and I applaud the efforts of the commenters who are gathering signatures for a petition to Florida's medical board.

  Yes, except they don't imply or state that they're going to consider the matter or that my comments matter. Also, these letters are always several paragraphs long. Really, they're a marvel of the art of writing nothing. I mean, seriously.
