I think it's fair use in the way it was used. And yeah, it would be the same for any religion, whether Christian, Satanist, Pagan, Or Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Even though I'm mostly on her side over marriage (and I (and apparently everyone else, including her) am ok with the compromise where other people can sign the marriage licenses, but she doesn't have to sign it herself), I still have to say her printing 6000 emails instead of emailing them in a 11 MB file is really stupid of her.
