  I would settle for the media to report on news without a bias in a neutral manner.
  
  Failing that, how about passing a law to make it illegal to lie about what you are reporting on.

  save that most soldiers will not fire on their fellow citizens. They did a big test in the last few years and the generals that said they would not got fired by Obama, since he was in charge when they gave their soldiers the test.
  
  So yes they outgun the citizens but if they don't have anyone willing to use those guns its a moot point.

  If we wanted to talk about fixing elections in one persons favour we could start with the one we know was rigged. The DNC and Hillary rigging the democratic primary in her favour.

  No other countries laws and governments matter when it comes to the FbI going after people they don't like. International treaties and standards be damned.
  
  Of course if any other country does the very same thing to the US it means war. As the US refuses to have their soveriegnty violated like that.

  I view it more as trump doing more outrageous things to force people to stop being apathetic and try to work on change while hillary would have continued the slow behind the scenes removal of stuff like this so that most people would not notice.
