  We ALL know we can trust government employees - they would never do things like hack into computers using open back-doors or mail out anthrax, of course.

  Anymore the online PC games I play are MMO's..My husband was going to buy BF3 and he was very very excited about it, but their DRM stopped him in his tracks and he refuses to buy it. DRM has made PC game companies lose at least 2 customers right here.
  
  Same here. I play mostly all MMOs now - but right before starting my most recent one, I started to play Fallout NV. We bought a copy, my son had already played, finished and uninstalled it. I went to install it - had issues with Steam. When I fired up the browser to go re-install Steam, yet AGAIN - I happened to notice an email giving me some free time... and signed back up.
  
  So sorry Bethesda - if I would have played Fallout NV, I'm sure I would have bought some DLC's and probably went on and bought Skyrim later, but alas, I'm having too much fun with my MMO, so no need.

  I would say.... 70% of the books I own - I either read from the library or had read another of the author's books at the library.
  
  70% of the Movies I own, I seen free first somewhere.
  
  98% of the music I own, I heard it free first somewhere else before buying it.
  
  I'm just frankly tired of this - go ahead, put SOPA or whatever asinine bullshit you want - but consider that I rarely, if ever, buy something without first sampling it for *free* first.

  The RIAA has 'stacked the deck' against consumers and artists for years. This is only poetic justice.
  
  Screw you RIAA - I boycotted buying CD's for 5 years over the Napster crap - but I've been buying them for a while now - if SOPA goes through, I'll quit buying them again - this time, maybe for 10 years.
  
  No skin off my back; with Pandora/Radio + the CD's I have now, I really don't need to buy anymore ever. There is little good music coming out anymore anyway.

  SOPA won't work - because, by and large, there's nothing really 100% 'new' out there. Pretty much all ideas have components of some other idea. If you get picky enough, you could shut down everything.

  It's a trend nowadays to point the finger elsewhere, but like I tell my kids - that's pointless.
  
  If the engine on my car is making noise, I can blame the tire all I want - but I'll never correct the problem because I am refusing to recognize the reality of the situation.
  
  Same with the Recording Industry - they can't fix their problems, because they won't honestly admit what their problems are.

  GoDaddy can support SOPA all it wants - and the customers that are against it can move their business. No one's rights have been infringed upon - that's what SOPA will do - systematically.
