I don't think we need specific news laws for cell phone use
I just wish when yet another driver nearly kills me on my motorcycle, because of whatever stupid reason they weren't paying attention, That the police would charge them appropriately -- some felony like reckless endangerment or attempted manslaughter
30,000 people a year in the US-- that's ten 9/11s every year on our highways
If by 'not impossible' and 'extremely difficult' at home, you mean requires a minimal knowledge of chemistry and electricity, equivalent to high school chemistry, combined with an hour or two of reading online and watching youtube then, yes, it is 'not impossible' and 'extremely difficult' at home.
//not be snarky at you, leigh, just getting really tired of the kickstarter abuses
a $20 can of spot welding primer paint, a $5 bottle of root kill, a $10 power supply, and a Tupperware container is somehow worth $2000.
I'm not sure whether I pity the backers, or dislike the ethics of the creators more.
the copper sulfate(root kill) isn't particularly nasty to humans or the environment, however I wouldn't want the nickle solution anywhere on my block, much less in my house.
I suspect the 'environmentally safe' is the creators code word for mad bank on consumables sales
crops being smaller under powerlines are more easily explained by sunlight differences, and the fact that crop dusters (pesticide and fertilizers) won't fly near power lines.
I will have to disagree with the idea of 'once it's leaked, it's no longer classified' is it leak once one unauthorized person knows? 1000?
Second, it would require them to be aware of exactly what had been leaked -- other wise some significant extra details could end up 'out there'
so, a government owned internet access blocking a site that could lead to criminal charges for their employees if they read the wrong document? Seems about they same as my employer not allowing me to surf for porn or hacking...just sayin'
As a motorcyclist, I realize that I have made my commute more dangerous.
I now feel less threatened driving in the bar district after last call than I do during rush hour.
Driving while impaired, I don't think it matters if it's alcohol or screaming kids or your phone. you should lose you license on the spot.
From what I understand, the only person who committed a crime here was the guy who sold it. It's only buying stolen property if you Know that it's stolen. When they bought it, it was a maybe iphone prototype. When ownership was confirmed they returned it. I believe in most states property that has been found has to be turned over/reported to the police within 30 days. The only person who didn't fulfill his legal responsibilities was the guy who sold it as he knew it wasn't his to sell.
Thus the police are illegally serving a warrant to discover the guy who sold it .
A fence is the person you sell stolen goods to...gizmondo sold nothing, and in fact returned property at a 'loss' of $5k
There is something to be said for the opinion of someone who comprehends the subject matter. Not all commentary has the same value -- for example my opinion on which football team will win the Stanley Cup this year is valuable (at best) for amusement. John Madden is certainly a better source.
Douglas Adams referred to this as 'discrepancy of opinion'

At what point is it stolen property?

Douglas Adams described something relevant
