I hope you don't actually believe anything that comes out of Wheeler's mouth. I know you haven't forgotten who this guy is and what he used to do, and probably still does do! Wheeler will promise the moon and then screw everybody like the cheap whore he is.
I'm a Firefox user and I block ads, mostly because they are obnoxious and distract from content. However, I also buy a lot of stuff; especially gadgets, software, computers, and other tech related stuff. If someone makes it hard for me to use their site because I use Firefox, I go somewhere else and I send the offending site a note letting them know that they lost my business.
Wow, you had some cred there, right up to the distinctly unclever Billary thing. It's just possible that Jim has absolutely no ax to grind with Giuliani, while it's blatantly obvious that you have a problem with anyone named Clinton. Kind of hypocritical of you, eh?
While the incident may just be an urban legend, it's also possible that what Jim said did happen and did not, for obvious reasons, receive a lot of publicity.
Oh, and if you are going to use Machiavelli's name, at least learn how to spell it.
I was going to switch to their service, but since they want to act like idiots, I'll stay with the idiots I have now.
Actually, I'm sick of all of these arrogant do-nothing-but-collect-cash companies. I was watching Attack of the Show in Japan and it's amazing the tech they have over there while we're stuck (in the U.S.) with companies that do never do much of anything except whine about their customers.
I've started writing to all artists whose music I do not buy because of their membership in the RIAA. I simply tell them that they will not get my money as long as they are a member of this destructive organization.
This site makes it easy to find out if an artist is a member: http://www.riaaradar.com/
Sounds to me like they are waiting for the public to forget about this case. We should make sure that does not happen by continuing to send letters and emails to the prosecutor and the newspaper. Everyone needs to keep an eye on this, because if Norwich gets away with this it is bad for everyone.
Sean - I can't imagine how video footage, like the type shown, would give any assistance to someone wishing to intimidate voters that they could not get from sitting outside the voting station and watching who went in.
Let me stop laughing long enough to try and understand what this idiot wants us to believe: Every person browsing through P2P files who downloads a piece of software would have purchased the software, if they hadn't been able to download it???
Yeah right!!!
More likely, three-quarters of the people who download a pirated copy of AutoCad never even use the software. So, should that be counted as a merchandise return?
Overcast - Looks like we agree on more than one point. Since no actual vote is shown being cast, I agree that the voting procedures should be videotaped and the tapes should be made public immediately after the voting is complete. The more public oversight of this process there is, the better, especially since the process was somehow sold off to corporate interests instead of being maintained by the government.
By the way, from some of the responses, I get the feeling that a few of you may not have actually watched the video. It's worth taking a look.
Wow, if anyone were looking for proof that the internet is occupied only by the far right and the far left, this discussion would provide all that they would need.
Hey, be glad you don't live in central PA. Half my local channels are televangelist crap. I'd pay more just to get them off my remote. And yes, they are offensive, especially since all they really do is separate suckers from their money.
Knowing Verizon, they passed on the iPhone because Apple wouldn't let them hobble every useful feature and cover the interface with crappy red Verizon branding. In other words, Verizon passed because Apple was making a phone that customers might actually like!
KInderstart should be counter sued for fraud. Baby needs to track his portfolio and then go see Saw III? I wanna hang with THAT kid! The page is a joke and so in the lawsuit.
It was wisely mentioned that maybe these companies don't care about winning. If that's true, then Google needs to counter sue them in to bankruptcy AND sue the owners out of their houses and cars.
I think she's just issuing her own signing statement, saying the law is there, but she'll ignore it thank-you-very-much. I mean, why not, since stupidity already just drips right off her whole page.
Yeah, well I HAVE registered to vote, against Bob Ehrlich, the worthless jerk. He's the one who wanted the damned machines so bad in the first place, and whined about all the reports that said they were insecure. Talk about a flip-flopper!
Techdirt has not posted any stories submitted by ogman.
If parodied = butt-hurt snowflake entertainer, then parody = "cyberbullying"?
Sad to see the word used to describe a real problem perverted for the benefit of entertainment industry funded government lackeys.
You believe Wheeler???
I hope you don't actually believe anything that comes out of Wheeler's mouth. I know you haven't forgotten who this guy is and what he used to do, and probably still does do! Wheeler will promise the moon and then screw everybody like the cheap whore he is.

I'll be seeing him tomorrow in Harrisburg. I'll deliver your message. ;o)

Exactly!!!
