And what percentage of the population fits this bill? Seriously...do you realize that these programs are sold to the taxpayer as helping the helpless which are such a minimal percentage of the population. Reality is the programs help line the pockets of many more fraudsters and lazy bums who would rather get a free check than work at Walmart because it pays better.
The TSA definitely is different from airport to airport. At Reagan in DC the screeners look like they could care less about their job (security) and serving the customer is the least of their concerns. They are just looking to collect a paycheck. At Des Moines they are emboldened by their promotion from mall cop and take their job way too seriously. It must be painfully obvious how the TSA is a grand farce to any who encounter and observe. Why are Americans so dumb to allow our government to be so wasteful?
...wacky secondary liability laws that mean you might be criminally liable...
...for failing to predict seismic events.
There are actually quite a few typos on this one. But I excuse Mike...I am sure he was as giddy when he typed it as I was as I read it.
The sad state of copyright law provides that his recordings are automatically under copyright (and shudder to think, your comments would automatically be auto-copyrighted, too). Of course, there is a big difference between having a copyright and enforcing it.
Didn't she also do the 'Voting for Obama is like the first time you had sex' video?
Lots of people make money from writing. I write technical standards and create reports all the time and get paid. Mike writes on a blog, which generates a little revenue from ads, but I would think your pea brain would be able to figure he makes money writing for other venues. The problem is you are too much of a dense contrarian to realize he didn't say he makes all his money from ads on the blog (something that only a narrow minded dolt could take from his point). Additionally, specifically his "blog writing" although free for some to see generates other business ventures for Mike and his company. Most people see an entire business plan here. All you can comprehend is:
1. Writes blog posts
2. ???
3. Profit
Y'know! I have popped so much popcorn to get settled in to enjoy this show (that promises to continue on to an epic, sweeping saga) that I am sure the poor corn farmers are going to see profits back to pre-piracy days.
Did you know many others are monetizing on the Gangnam Style phenomenon? Many of which would be considered copyright infringement. But PSY doesn't care...he is still making his money.
You nitwit!
As a hedge, you fill in with fantasy assertion that piracy will go away once "service" is available.
As if anybody, ever, said that. You can throw all the laws, dollars, and moral postulation at any supposed offense and you will never eradicate it. Read: War on Drugs. Now matter how severe the penalty, no matter how much moral derision, you will always have somebody, somewhere willing to risk commission. Name one law or punishment that has eliminated every case of that specific crime.
But Napster proved that MOST PEOPLE WOULD RATHER NOT PAY!
Until iTunes came along was there even an online alternative to purchase digital files that was run by "authorized" services? Napster proved that there wasn't a market for shiny discs and what people wanted was digital music files. When iTunes came along with a service that was actually competitive to the 'free' options, plenty were willing to pay for the service.
All I can imagine is a Drebin forgetting to turn off his press conference mic when he went to the restroom situation...especially if this will be a "live feed" to some monitor jockey. Damn, now the fine officer's bowel movement is public record.
Is their office next to the SEC offices?
Why don't you find us a source for your info? Prove Mike wrong 4 reeulz for once.
Optimistic about the cost of tuition or the cost of textbooks?
Which is the same thing the government offers us.
Wasn't there one where the kid kicked his bully in the nutz...the superintendent of the school district was looking at charging him with a sex offense.
LOL! Are you suggesting competence at the Federal level?
we have no idea what to make of the video of an e-voting machine that votes for Romney if you click on Romney or Obama
I've heard accounts of machines doing the opposite. Well, the process is a joke and only the government could blow wads of somebody else's money to give to their pals to make shoddy equipment.
"The Rich" is not some defined condition, it is an ever-shifting group of human beings with different backgrounds, beliefs, behaviors, ethics, etc.
Being part of the "Poor" is mostly a transitional thing. Sure there are some who are permanently poor but a large percentage essentially move up as life goes on, ie. graduates from college, gets promoted, etc. Alternately, the "Rich" are always moving between categories all the time. The Super Rich now were not the Super Rich of the 80's. Sowell covered it quite nicely in this book.
Re:
If you cannot take the responsibility of raising and protecting your own kids, DON'T HAVE KIDS.
Problem is that you have to have some level of responsibility to use birth control measures to prevent gestation. Irresponsible people shouldn't have kids...irresponsible people won't use a prophylactic.
