I not very familiar with the print publications in L.A. even though I have lived here 2 years. I read some of the RSS feeds from the LA Times, but rarely touch the paper itself. Thinking of New York City where I have lived/worked for 15 years, I can think of a few papers that could probably pull this off quite well. The Village Voice was my first thought.
I was just thinking how I can not believe this stuff is still happening. Then I realized that I have the backup tapes for my company in my unlocked car. There are over 10,000 credit card numbers on one of those tapes.

Is there a Pandora like service based outside the US? That can be easily accessed within the US?
Gnarls Barkley picked up on the buzz created by Danger Mouse (half of Gnarls) with his "Grey" album. The Grey album takes Jay-Z lyrics from the Black Album and lays them over samples from the Beatle's White Album. The resulting mashup was highly popular, but EMI tried to stop it because they "own" the White Album. They failed and it can be found all over the internet.
