  It failed in the UK because people here have a hatred for authority figures and for extortionists especially in the currant climate. people are not scared to tell em to get lost unlike the USA where you cant even cross a road in the wrong place.

  The guys a rap / hip hop artist nothing wrong with that but that genera is thwart with samples of other peoples songs. I would guess if you went through Jacksons catalogue you could find maybe 100 artists he borrowed from. pot calling kettle black maybe.

  The whole act is totally unworkable and should be repealed. It only is for large ISPs like BT small ISPs are exempt and now this we should get rid of the thing ASAP.

  Sorry very few musicians "make it big" as you say. Far many more now are making a living without the record lables. and their scaming of the artist. That is the point and as more take to the new technololgy then sooner rather than later one of them will make it real big by this model.
