perhaps you should pass this tidbit of intel along to those who paid these speakers to speak at this grad ceremony. I 'm sure they would be happy to spend it on something that would actually be appreciated.
It's just a thought. But isn't that what matters?

  • That Random Coin Toss? Not So Random Afterall…

    Coughing Monkey ( profile ), 12 Dec, 2009 @ 07:35am

if the same action is applied to the toss, catch and flip of the coinage it will always be the same. it's all in the wrist sorta speak but, actually in this case it's all in the thumbage.

    it boils down to this

It is what the public will allow to happen. if we pay what the big companies ask it can only go their way. if we demand the prices go down they will go down but, we will need to be ready to withhold on buying their product until they see we mean business. otherwise it will continue in the same direction as it has throughout time. yes it is said the meek shall inherit the earth. approx.: a 6ftX3ftX6ft hole of it. now go back to your cubicles and make plans on how to defeat this in your own part of the world. and feel free to take this chant as your own. "It's what the public will allow that is the status quo"

  • Supreme Court Justice Kennedy Teaches Wrong Lesson On Freedom Of The Press

    Coughing Monkey ( profile ), 12 Nov, 2009 @ 06:20am

My first reaction to this matter was that Supreme Court Justice Kennedy was merely exposing a hard cold fact that we are not as free a people as we are lead to believe but after a few minutes of waiting for my username to reach my email account I remembered that it is also a known human factor that we usually rise to the point of our own incompetency. And this dear students is a classic example of such incompetency.

oh i dunno could it be that after making a ton of money wouldn't you want to use the latest high expense toys to be a little more creative? granted money does not take the place of talent (creativity) but look at all those expensive car brands some are very nicely done while others are so high priced only a very few may appreciate them when other cars are sold for far less and the owners seem to be having as much fun driving them. films can be seen the same way, some are so full of different meanings you can only catch them all by viewing the same film over and over a few times. this takes talent beginning at the pencil and a sheet of paper (for us old school types). i've been working on how to make a film spending the least money possible and am amazed when i see what others do with so little compared to those who spend so much and get so little in return (talent wise). i know someone must be laughing all the way to the bank.

  • Lobbyists As The New Celebrities? Cheering On Those Who Abuse The System

as i see it it is the press who is manipulating us because only through sensationalism may they (the press or journalists) become rich and famous. so after the revolution as we line up the lawyers in front of the politicians for the firing squads i suggest we line all these sensationalistic journalists and the rest of the press out in front of the lawyers.

    This is nothing new

DOH!!! they made an excellent plant quite illegal a few decades ago and we are barely getting it brought back into a semi-legal use legal area now after many decades of battling the laws against it. Can you say marijuana? I knew you could.
    Legalize it!

    apology accepted

can;t we all just move along? rubbing her nose in this will eventually give her a face without a nose and that will give all a painful vision. I myself do not want a painful vision. let Lilly keep her nose. She is easier to see this way.

Ruh row, all knowing Ninja has mistaken a Buddhist Monk for an Amish Farmer. I myself prefer the flight simulation so I may enjoy the excitement of flight while keeping my feet upon solid terra firma.
Have I just given a jab to a Ninja? How may this be? Oh,,mebbe I be a Ninja too.

  • I Want My Flying Car

    Coughing Monkey ( profile ), 13 Apr, 2009 @ 06:43pm

    how about this old idea?

the cost of an airplane or even one with wings that fold up for road travel is far more expensive than say one with robotic eyes and a computerized brain that may drive itself while we sit and enjoy the ride, doing whatever we want. all we woill need to do is enter the dest we want to hit and enjoy. and with the strides DARPA has been making lately there should be something on the market within the decade. i'm not sure if these links will work, if not just google darpa and you'll see how close we are to having this happen. http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/Technology-Article.asp?ArtNum=59 http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/Science-Fiction-News.asp?NewsNum=616 http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/Science-Fiction-News.asp?NewsNum=759

  • If You Want To Charge For News, Can You Answer These Questions?

    Coughing Monkey ( profile ), 10 Mar, 2009 @ 01:01pm

    Buggy whips

The Times aren't changing as fast as the times are changing. Ain't that just a dirty shame? Rhetorical question.
With the speed of the internet worldwide news spreads faster than a speeding press. It is called progress and if a company can not evolve fast enough it will be replaced by one that will. Uh, do the big 3 auto manufacturers deserve to be bailed out after time and again they refused to develop a car that we wanted to buy or just keep on making those that were created to be replaced in 10 years. With yet another cookie cutter car.
Yes newspapers will still have a place in our lives and not necessarily in a birdcage or in the out house out back. Oops, we moved that indoors didn't we? My bad.

    unwanted phonebooks

where is the all mighty greenie, tree hugger society? shouldn't they be all over this predicament? look at how big a carbon footprint they could be getting rid of if they just applied themselves towards a mutually beneficial predicament like this one. and as wide spread as it is one would obviously wonder "Why?".
