  You might ask the IRS about their definition of "voluntary".. They trumpet how they're all about "voluntary compliance".. Funny, the word "voluntary" kinda negates using the word "compliance" after it..

  IRS's definition of Voluntary ... We tell you how much to pay, and you voluntarily pay it, or we seize your stuff..
  
  I get the feeling the cops would tend to lean towards the IRS definition of voluntary...

  I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there's a LARGE number of Americans who are damn glad he blew the whistle (as it were) on this behavior of our government. In fact, I consider Edward Snowden a hero, like unto some of the heroes of the "first American revolution".. I say "first revolution" as I'm convinced we're well into the second revolution...

  @Me .. I believe you'd be what would be described as a "JFK Democrat".. Your party has been stolen and turned into a branch of the American Communist Party.. Not to mention its picked up a bunch of Republicans along the way, you might remember them as RINOs.. I'm wondering if its too late to fix this mess, or if there's enough Americans who are not still in love with this asshole in the White house to pull our balls out of the fire, as it were.. All this shithole has to do is snap his fingers and voila! Martial law, and America as we knew it is dead...

  Of the VERY VERY few movies I care to see, namely movies of the Starwars/Startrek/MenInBlack/JamesBond genre, which I DO NOT see in a theater, rather wait till they appear at Redbox, then rent and rip it to my Plex media server, and return the DVD, THEN watch the movie at home.. No screaming kids/yakkers/texters bothering me... I haven't been in a movie theater since about 2005, and seriously doubt I ever will again.. FU MPAA!!

  I've stopped doing business with banks. My household accounts have been in credit unions for over 20 years. I finally completely severed any connections to any bank when I refinanced my house away from Bank Of America back in February. Having said that, I see where the banking cartels are again pestering congress to pass legislation to castrate credit unions. They tried back in the 80s, but I have a bad feeling they may succeed this time..

  Call me extremely puzzled why we haven't started referring to the MSM by their FAR more accurate name.. namely the defacto US Department of Propaganda.. They have been acting like a cabinet-level administration department since at least Clinton.. I recall distinctly hearing CNN referred to as the "Clinton News Network" back then... of course, now its the "Communist News Network"....

  Well the House does the impeaching, and the Senate does the convicting.. So I think if the majority of R's in the House were to quit being afraid of their shadow, and man up, I think an impeachment would be doable, but to get Mr Soetero-Obama ousted from office, you gotta get the Senate to convict, and with the Senate firmly in the hands of Mr Soetero-Obama's party, you know conviction is NOT in the cards..

  yup.. Posters here seem to forget that in the minds of these NSA/FBI officials, there ARE no "innocent people".. In their minds EVERYone is potentially a terrorist, and if you happen to believe strongly in the Constitution, limited government, you ARE a terrorist.. It pains me no end to believe/state this, as I love this country, but fear the government FAR more than I do some possibly imaginary islamic terrorist...
  As far as I'm concerned the government is rapidly showing it IS a terrorist...
