"taking away a popular blog's first amendment rights"
Blogs don't have First amendment rights. American citizens do.
At no time were the writers or owners of said blog gagged, or their hands tied so that they could not express themselves. They may have had to do it someplace other than their blog. But their rights were never removed.
Besides, come on it was a Hip Hop blog no great loss anyway.
Nothing stupid about it. Web development isn't rocket science, and the tools for most things are open source and a team are you kidding?? 1 guy part time.
You knew when you bought the ticket it was a possibility that you would have to be scanned/groped. so you gave consent to either / both. if you don't want either don't fly. there are other options.
Take samples at birth and keep them on file. I have nothing to loose. I obey the law only those who are scum bags and try to do the crime without doing the time have anything to fear from this. At the very least to get any form of state or federal ID you should have to submit a sample, and some way to store a digital rendition of it on that ID should be invented so when you present an ID it can easily be verified. I understand that at this time that DNA sequencing takes quite some time but I’m sure that in the near future it will come down to a near instantaneous check.

Re: Re: Re: The Terminator
Ah but the MPAA ratings are voluntary, not government mandated.
