    Music business consolidation

What I am doing as a consumer is ceasing to use the product as it is the only true power I have over these huge corporations. Music is not a requirement to survive in life, at least not purchased music. I find other ways to meet my need for music and figure if enough people get sick and tired of being crapped on as a consumer they will also cease consuming. Sure it is very inconvenient and in the short run I seem to be the one to suffer but that is just a perspective and those can be changed more easily than causing corporations to care about the consumer. To be perfectly honest I do not hold out much hope as it SEEMS the general public have no energy to fight for their needs and rights. They act more like sheep than anything and corporations know this and take full advantage.

    Hurt Locker

When I first read about what this studio was doing I choose to avoid any movie produced by them and have attempted to influence all I know to do the same. It is the only way to fight back against this BS. As I see it, slapping around customers, no matter their excuse, is a bad idea. But they will get away with this behavior as long as we the public buy their product. So if you don't like what they are doing avoid their products people.

    Courts and Liberty

To me this is just another example of 'gay bashing' and greed (in the case of Liberty). The judge in this case is acting as though there is some homophobia inside them as cannot see any damage created by outing. Who, in this day and age, does not realize the harm in that? The answer is only those with their head in the sand or operating from fear.

    FBI Portland bust

I live in Portland and saw this for the BS it is. But the local media must be starving for stories as they are all over this, being good little compliant americans (small case intended)and following what the FBI wants, a media justification for the rape of individual rights.
But hey, this is the new age of terrorism and we are supposed to stand aside and allow our trusted government to "protect us". The obviously confused and 'broken' teenager is of no consequence as "his parents should have raised him better".

    Google security breach

What you don't seem to understand is eventually a human needs to be relied on to be ethical and hiring staff to watch other staff is absurd and unsustainable. So the only issue here is hiring practices as Google has a system which is just fine if the humans were just ethical. Now we are talking about the actually topic here, can humans be relied on? No, we have proven this through history, eventually we humans will abuse each other, always have and always will.

    Spore/ EA DRM

Add my voice to the disgusted ones. EA just slit it throat by not listening as I and anyone I support will no longer be buying from this vendor. How stupid can a company get? no, dont answer that as EA just did.
