I can vouch on the issue of getting a callback from Amazon. Heck I am not even sure how they do business on the cloud services side. I had a reason to purchase a bunch of cloud storage for my employer on short notice. So the first name that popped into my head was Amazon. I tried 3 different times to find a sales rep to help me and all I could get was some online interest form. So I went ahead and filled it out. It was fully 16 days later before an Amazon sales rep called and left me a voicemail about my inquiry. Which ended up being about 13 days too late...
As long as they are offering a for-cost option to avoid this level of intrusion I don't see the problem. This is basically Google's entire business model. You can get all these great services for $0 but in exchange we get to snoop all your data. If you don't like that they pay for enterprise email and web hosting. How is this any different?
It could be linked to the similarly historically low morale and high suicide rates of US soldiers that some are contributing to their decade long engagement in immoral missions? I think I read about the KGB and Stasi agents in the 1980's having high rates of depression and suicide as well :-)
We certainly do not have crime-free neighborhoods, and we have been doing it your way for about 100 or more years. So lets try it the other way now? If we're wrong we can always go back to no-knock door kicking, flashbanging, infant burning, etc...
Now if only T-Mobile had some decent coverage where I live I'd switch in a minute. It's ok on the main streets and the freeway but get off into a suburban area or go inside a large building and their signal goes down faster than a cheap date. Hope they are building infrastructure with all their new revenue so people in my area can join in on the fun.
There were a few issues at hand in this primary but the real answer as to why Cantor lost to a relatively unknown was...gun control. The GOA and NRA canvassed the district relentlessly for 72 hours prior to the primary in favor of Brat.
They don't want any non-government agency doing what amounts to surveillance. Imagine the fun the independent media would have with photos of government troops doing door to door firearm confiscations like they did during Katrina.
if police then....
How much longer until "we" learn that if police can do it, the criminals can too?
thank you
This is one of the best articles I've read on this site in a while. Thank you.
hard to get ahold of anyone
