First item up for business in the next congress. Pass a law forbidding citizens from contacting their representatives or senators. Because, heck, it must be ok since it's all the way at the end of the first amendment.
Because nothing says you love your viewers more than inducing migraines with your flashing banners.
I'm curious to see the response to the question "are any documents marked secret?" Just to see how reflexive that answer is.
Ask not what copyright can do for you, ask what copyright can do for big media.
You see, the problem here isn't what people believe to be true or not, it's actually copyright. If the original creator of slender man had easy tools to prevent fans from building on his work, then obviously there would be no stories on Creepypasta and as such, none of this would have happened.
We need to immediately improve the copyright industry's control on the internet, for the children.
Reporter: You are sure that's the only email?
NSA: I don't understand what you mean by email?
Ok, that just provided a scary thought. What if it's not GHCQ/NSA have something on those systems. What if they know about something China placed on the chips that GHCQ/NSA know about but don't mention to the public because they are taking advantage of it too, and/or don't stop so as not to tip off to China that they know about it. They may then be destroying those chips because those computers had sensitive info on them at one point and want to prevent that info from being able to be spread by whatever is wrong with those chips?
Why don't they just go ahead and sue the W3 Cons. for providing the HTTP spec as promoting copyright infringement.
Sad thing is, I fully expect someone to reply to this with an example of someone trying it.
I figure if the politicians start losing campaign contributions because people can't find their websites, it'll change fast. Nothing hurts a politician like losing money.
Yes your honor, we have surveillance footage of the defendant killing his wife.
Objection your honor, my client would like this information deleted as he finds it embarrassing.
I think the quickest way to get this fixed is for google to take a scorched earth approach. If you file to have info removed, in an over abundance of caution, in those countries where this applies, no search results containing your name will appear. That way they can argue that it is safer for google legally since they don't regulate what is on the net. This will last until the politicians realize now no one can google their election site and that the public then knows that they had something they wanted to hide. Then the law will change fast.
Well, they did retrieve it and then destroy it. They didn't specify to make sure there was no further copy remaining from where they got it.
Google should just search for this information, print it out, then video themselves shredding the printouts.
So, Chicago has cleared all current crime backlog and now has time and resources to throw at non existent crime? Maybe they should be sharing the secret of their success.
Just like how Saved by the Bell and Casablanca are similar because they both involve humans.
Ok, well maybe not Screech, but the rest of them were.
I have the perfect idea to settle this matter. Unfortunately I do not have a current license required to pass information from one person to another.
Wait, I just told you I didn't have a license, that was information. Crud, where do I go to turn myself in at.
I can see the sticker added to the next album
The license granted to you upon purchase of this compact disc only allows you to hold it and admire the album art. You are not authorized to listen to the audio recordings contained on the enclosed disc. Any infringement will be subject to a fine of up to, but no less than, one million dollars.
Is it amazon that is the problem, or was it diverted by USPS after leaving Amazon. Amazon may not have had anything to do with it. Perhaps packages being sent to her are being inspected waiting on a computer to be ordered and a chance for this to happen. The last time I ordered a computer by mail it came in a box that indicated that it was from a computer company (basically the box the computer was packed in with a shipping label on it). It wouldn't be hard to notice those and divert the shipment.
Yeah, that music was so important to them they sat on it for 50 years, but dang if they will miss one moment of copyright.
