"He pretty blatantly flipped the bird to law enforcement and is now being punished."
Hmm...I think you have that backwards. The "bird flipping" was done to him - by LE. He was not breaking any laws of his own country.
And that "mirror" you refer to? Look in your own - what kind of culture are your kind creating where creativity, freedom of expression, and the kind act of sharing are stifled, silenced and restrained - and now considered "Illegal". That's against our civil liberties and against human nature. Your misguided whine-fest will never alter those facts.
"...it just looks like someone running a crooked game."
Exactly. Of it's her decision what she "allows" on her blog; however, if someone posts a respectable dissenting opinion she should be happy to allow it because if she's so sure she's right, this would also give her opportunity to state her case - some more.
Furthermore, if she had an open mind, she would take opposing viewpoints into serious consideration - not just dismiss them as wrong. That's narrow minded.
It does her more damage than anyone to censor dissent. Which makes this whole thing rather laughable, IMHO.
Oh really? WRONG. Living in one of the highest welfare states in the nation, I assure you there is not only a "free lunch" but free housing, free cell phones, tons and tons of free food and "free" money. Only us taxpayers are being destroyed by all the "Freebies".
You want to see the face of a real "freetard"? Look at Barack Hussein Obama.
What you refer to as "fake" prescription has helped many.
I have a friend who had a bladder infection - she's had them before so knew the symptoms well. She called her doctor asking for some antibiotics. They told her she'd have to come in for a visit ($130.00 MINIMUM). Then she'd HAVE to have a urine test - no idea what those cost but no doubt not cheap. Then over pay for the antibiotic from a pharmacy.
Since, like so many, her taxes have soared, her income has tanked, she can't afford health insurance because she has to pay for everyone else in the public sector, she found a Canadian pharmacy, bought antibiotics for $58.00 which totally took care of the problem for her. And she has plenty left over in case she gets hit again. She literally did not have the $ to go through that whole process and spent a fraction of the $ to rid herself of the infection.
The medicine was by no stretch "Fake".
Should something like that happen to me, I'm thrilled to know I can do this as I can't afford any health insurance, either as a self employed, taxed to the max "subject" of the latest regime.
What kind of coldhearted, inhumane bastard are you that you want people to keep being robbed and exploited by those already rolling in dough, unable to get enough? Some simply because the "have a name".
Theaters are noisy now? Grief. I haven't been to a theater in at least 15 years, but we used to have ushers who booted anyone out who made too much noise if a "shush" warning didn't work. Everyone actually watched the movie - quietly. Because that's what they went to see.
Well, except for Friday the 13th horror nights - they let us gals screech our faces off 'til we lost our voices. And the boys could laugh themselves silly at our foolishness. It was an innocent blast. No sex. No drugs, No guns. Just plain, silly kid-style fun.
If I'm behind the times, I think I'd like to stay there. We used to practice respect; it was a good thing.
"making money for yourself by taking someone else's movie and streaming it. "
Do you realize there are costs involved in providing something like this? Even a "little guy/gal" who offers "whatever" on a web site has costs involved. Hosting, domain name, software, etc.
Furthermore, since when did our civil liberties include elected perps stealing from us? The "powers that be" legalize that all the time. Why is that "okay" but enjoying some entertainment and/or sharing (basic tenets of human nature) with others is "criminal"? That's all backwards.
Whether or not it's "breaking the law" is still open to debate in many quarters. It's not an across the board absolute.
"The law is cracking down on your pirate buddies. It's amusing to watch you wiggle."
A). For the majority, this has nothing to do with "pirates".
B). Clearly you have no understanding in regards to freedom.
C). Clearly you're a tyrant.
D). "Wiggle"? I've surfed around reading comments on sites accused of "harboring pirates" and all I see is a whole lot of dangerous anger and even more attempts by the day to fight back against these infringements on basic human liberty.
Anonymous Cowards like you are fanning the flames of dissent and inciting a cyber war by the very real groups such as "Anonymous" and LulzSec. Saddest thing of all is the innocents getting caught in the cross fire for having so much as a passive interest in all of this.
Seems your shooting yourselves in the foot causes a whole lot more than just "wriggling".
Perhaps it is, yes but this does prove one thing I've tried to drill into my own communities thick skulls regarding their apathetic behavior - politicians and PO-lice HATE public scrutiny so the best thing to do is take an interest and express outrage when appropriate.
If we have a known (and we do) problem with drug runners from Mexico, I see no relation to profiling and racism.
It's based on facts, not skin color. Precautions are not prejudices.
If Africans would have profiled white's for slave trading back in the day, I wouldn't have blamed them one bit nor would I have felt it was "racist".
Guess it's just a very different perspective. Even though I'm female and tend to be emotional at times, I struggle to allow logic to prevail in all things, and it just seems logical to me to apply standards that are based on factual evidence.
All this talk of "good/strong passwords" - but what good is that if the password is stored in a database totally unencrypted when a hacker gets his/her hands on it? Four or forty characters, if it's there, it's there.
But darryl, the inherent nature of a good person means they could not stand by and allow someone to be harmed, or not help someone they see in need, etc. if there was anything within their power they could do to help. Their conscious would not allow them to simple "do nothing".
I guess true goodness is even more rare than I thought, if that's too much for people to grasp.
Good call-out, eejit. I've been harassed by a similar nasty battle-ax troll for over 6 years now. Once when she posted an incredibly hateful and ignorant post on a forum I ran via a proxy, I went ahead and posted the proxy IP.
She ran to her trashy forum and ranted that I "outed" "her" IP # (and that I "threatened" her, thus informing me that what I suspected was true - it was her making the post.
It was an IP from a proxy out of China.
You trolls really need to learn a simple lesson my 3rd grade teacher taught me: Think before you speak.
