This is not the first time when it has happened! But this definitely is one of the substantial blows to internet users' privacy. So many are right here about using reputable VPNs (I personally started using one around a year ago). It is a great way to deal with such issues but you definitely need more tools to be more secure like using data encryption, email encryption, secure messaging and similar things.
