My experiment was just what Google could find since that's who they are targeting. I doubt that they understand deep web searches. My experiment just proves that you have to look for the freebie they don't just magically appear.
This is so stupid. I just did a movie experiment with "The Wolf of Wall Street." Using Chrome, I pulled up two tabs - the first searching in the omnibox (address bar) the wolf on wall street. The first five searches: 1. Showtimes for "Wolf..." 2. IMDB 3. Wikipedia 4. News for 'The Wolf on Wall Street" 5. Daily Mail
The second omnibox search was the wolf on wall street free online. It brought back links to free streaming and downloads of the movie.
You have to specifically look for the freebies otherwise nothing but legit returns.
Sorry but the artists in the multimedia age do have to take responsibility for their careers and the marketing, promotion, and distribution of their work. If they don't want to do it themselves then they need to hire people to help them do it.
The '360' deal was created by the major labels to get their paws on tour money that in the past had gone to the artists. It's just another way for the labels to take another piece from the artists under the guise providing artist development.
Easy, don't use Google Services. You don't have to use gmail, YouTube, etc. There's bing, vimeo, a host of other services that will do the job as well.
I just found a long lost childhood book that I read in my elementary school's library. I've looked for this off and on for years but no luck until I used Google Books. Someone on ebay has it for sale and I can't wait to buy it.
The book is from 1965 and long out of print. I would gladly buy it in the library if they offered speed printing. A missed opportunity indeed!

How Could This Be Wrong?
