  The only real solution to this is for us, the consumers to no longer link to any tv, movie, cartoon or music anywhere online, don't post criticisms of anything on any websites at all, no linking new stuff to friends at all, dont read the 'major' consumer magazines ect.
  Wonder how fast they would turn around and beg.
  
  Unlikely tho, to many sheeple about.

  Brill, whose company had to sell out to a much larger player recently (suggesting it's not as successful as he makes it out to be), insists during the episode that there is no way to make money giving away journalism content for free, and insists that advertising is no way to make money.

  relevance?

  I'm not even sure its relevant tbh, with virtually no mobile devices in the market at the minute, they are going to have a massive uphill struggle to get anywhere i think.
  The one device i know of that they do have, is shelved in the corner out of the way of everything else, and probably rarely mentioned by sales staff, and with no clue how to innovate, i reckon they'r wasting money even bothering to try.

  Now i don't actually know about facebook, but i haven't seen google anywhere assert patent infringement, either aggressively to go after someone, nor in a counterclaim, which is where they would most likely appear.
  
  I think google are clearly demonstrating that they are not needed, even the ones oracle asserted at the start of this, 95% of them have been binned.

  i can confirm this, i have it in black and white from this uk government, direct from the office of Brandon Lewis MP.
